can someone please give me some info on this band...are they good or bad?...roots or pop? HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

The Hardskin I know are a spoof skinhead OI! band from South London. Nothing to do with reggae, they lampoon such bands as Sham 69 and the Cockney Rejects. As for good or bad it's a matter of opinion, if you get the joke they are great.if you don't you will think it's a load of dodgy skinhead S***!

hardskin ist a roots reggae band formed in 1987, i only know one album called skin therapy make in 1993 in almanac records (london)
ist roots style(no hard reggae , no steppers, no heavy full dub efects)wiht some lovers and dancehall songs , and african drums in two tracks:
Atlantis 1 and Atlantis 2.
dedicate to first singer Steve Exton Linton dead at age of 30 in 1988.

in the band playing:
iawata selassie(guitar , keyboards, percusion and lead singer)
winston rose (sax)
niles hailstone (trumpet)
and others

recorded in progressive sounds and roots studios

mixed in roots studios and ruff cut

i know of a christian rock band called Hard Skin Jesus. They have an Lp released in '01 entitled, "Rockin' my boner on the Crucifix!" It's a real doozy from what the angels tell me.
