Peter Tosh-Wanted Dread & Alive
Fred Locks-Black Star Liner

Of course, like many, it was Bob that started everything, but the first other reggae artist that started it all, and I realized that reggae was a whole new world:
Ijahman - Jah Heavy Load
It was around 1980 and since, it never stopped

Jammin - Bob Marley. It was the only reggae 45 on a juke box in my local pub. Somebody kept playing it instead of the rock/punk/pop stuff that the mainly biker drinkers preferred. Eventually, I set aside my prejudices and realised that it was a very good tune.
I also have to thank John Peel for relentlessly playing reggae in betwen punk songs on his late night radio show.
And thanks to the friend who gave me a tape of Leggo Dub, this really kick started my love affair with reggae music.
