Its because its Sao Luis... This is a true mecca of reggae in south america.
Awesome people, so much reggae there. i remember waking up in my hotel room, at 3 am... there was a sound system may be a kilometer away from me, and i could hear "Justice" by Tiken Jah Fakoly. Could hear it like it was next to me. This city just felt like home.
