Scientist - The Album They Didn't Want You To Hear LP
Jah Life In Dub LP
Chronixx - Dread & Terrible LP
Kalbata & Mixmonster - Congo Beat The Drum LP
Willi Williams - Unification CD
Vernon Maytone - On the Right Track (I can't remember if this one is in early 2014 or 2013 but very underrated album) LP
Popcaan - Where We Come From CD
Earl Sixteen's album I bought. I enjoy it but perhaps I was expecting more from it since I really haven't been playing it too much. There wasn't anything that drew me to it.

I would't be able to make a list, as I haven't purchased many albums that came out in 2014. But one I can recommend is Tiken Jah Fakoly's DERNIER APPEL. Although it's a french artist, there is four songs in english on the album. First official release in four years. Nice re-issues: Horace Andy's GET WISE (Pressure Sounds). THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UPSETTERS (Jamaican Edition) (Hot Milk). We need more re-issues like these.
Although I haven't purchased them, the following two compilations are probably among important releases of 2014: Bunny Lee's 'FULL UP' (Pressure Sounds) and Gussie Presenting 'THE RIGHT TRACKS' (17 North Parade).

One of the best reggae LPs released this year is The Lions - This Generation in Dub. I suppose all of these tracks were previously available as b-sides on the 8x7" Lions box set from 2013, but I never bought that one so I can't say for certain. The Lions are a fantastic band and Tom Chasteen has skills on the knobs and dials!

all the releases by Pressure Sounds were excellent
the LP's from DKR were badass
at long last Island re-issued the Paragons album with Sly & Robbie from 1981 and Warrika Dub by Rico (now if only they could do Social Living Dub)
single of the year - Chronixx + Proteje Who knows
new stuff: special mention to Dubrising
disclaimer= I produced Dubrising
