M. Goubard,
Curiosity: who did the artwork for the album?
Is it an original? If so, did you commission it / keep it?
Best,
Vlad.

It's Bougard!
I got in touch with him after looking through the deviant art website for days on end. I went though his page and really liked what I saw in a few illustrations. I selected a few and asked him permission. He said OK, which was cool of him. Then I lost touch with him and have been unable to send him a copy, etc...
I'd like to commission a special illustration from him.
I also would like to have a young video cartoon artist as I'd like to create a DVD and a 5.1 mix of the album to illustrate a 36 mn movie.

Hey Mr. Bougard,
When are you releasing the Isaacs 12" that's featured on the link?
Cheers

I need to do two things:
1. finalize an agreement to pay a portion of the sales to a charity in JA. They're very slow and I am getting frustrated. I need to have their info so I can print it on the sleeve so people can contribute more if they want.
2. finalize the artwork (see above)
Once this is ready, I'll press and things take an inordinate amount of time nowadays due to the so-called vinyl resurgence.
So I'm hoping to have this ready in the Spring.

Thanks. Really looking forward, as I am now totally discovering Isaacs output post "golden era", with so many overlooked, fantastic compositions.
There needs to be more projects like NECESSARY MAYHEM PRESENTS GREGORY ISAACS REMIXED.
Take, for example, the Call Me Collect album. I am pretty certain a remix could do wonders to this recording.
Also, I urge people to listen to the HOLD TIGHT release, and its companion dub set. Just very very solid stuff.
This one below also deserves a 12" release:

Goubard,
I realize that I may have hit a sweet spot with the link. Was not intentional.
Anyway, I met Gregory in person in 1993, and had the privilege of seeing him live in 1991 (or was it in 1992, intro act was Peter Broggs) when he toured the US with Flabba and friends, at the peak of his return, clean and able...to the max....and I can't afford not tax. He was wearing a white suite, and had the dreadlocks long and dread.
Cool ruler come again. Your 12" will be epic.

And now the Dutch site reggae-vibes.com put out a glowing review of Dubrising
http://www.reggae-vibes.com/rev_sin/sr-dubri.php
They even said the album is a historic event!!! That's mad but pleasing still
