I dont know about this one because many of his song names were rastafarian but dont know if it were because the king himself was a rastafari?

Thank you very much. However when you - john public - say that he like most other producers wasn't a rastafari i would just like to say that the king wasn't a producer and can you tell me some more producers who wasn' rastafari's

I don't think King Tubby had anything to do with the naming of tracks credited to him. It's more like the producers (eg. Bunny Lee's) job.
Besides engineering and repairing equipment he was very passionate about jazz & classical music though. He was reputed to have a very large collection of records too. I don't know if he ever told anything about his private life to anyone.

from zimbabwe..i did not know the man king-tubby..but the dub from the heart ..all man have rasta in the heart ..so i think true..cause all man have heart..only babylon have no heart.

Lee Perry wasn't rasta, Harry Mudie wasn't rasta, scientist wasn't rasta, Jammy wasn't rasta, Lloyd Barnes wasn't rasta etc etc.

I always thought lee perry was a rasta, he used so many Rasta lyrics in his music, and talks alot about Haile Selassie very surprised to hear he was never a Rasta.
