It is a great compilation. I got mine a week or so back. I was particularly happy that Curfew/Morning Curfew on the same rhythm as Freddie McKay, Hey Stranger is on it. As well as the 12" cut of Barry Brown - Natty Dread Nah Run.

I believe half of it will be coming out on LP and the rest on a series of 12" singles, so if you're into vinyl that's something to look forward to.

It's a fantastic release. Hot Milk are doing the works.

Curfew is of course the same rhythm as Jumping Master with Mikey Dread.

Good call on Jumping Master, another great cut. Curfew is on a cut of Jumping Master but not the same version as Mikey Dread's, of course. The Thompson cut of the riddim is way heavier and bass pattern is slightly different but yeah it's clearly based on Jumping Master. Probably what you meant but I'm just being pedantic

Can anyone help with any of the other rhythms on the set?

Is Wicked Intention on a version of I'm Just a Guy/Vanity?
I think Morning Love is a widely used rhythm, but I can't place it.
Is Rob and Gone based on an old rhythm, or is it original?

I believe Morning Love is Mr Bassie rhythm. Wicked Intention doesn't sound like Vanity to me but not sure.

Finally got my copy. Must say first listen underwhelmed me. Some great rhythms but all I can say is thank Jah that Linval gave up singing. Painful.
A second listen is imminent

The Linval songs on SLS aren't my favourites, but I've always liked his performance on this cut (among others). Very tuneful, to my ears anyway.
