Hi,
I have a book called "The Blue Note Years" which is about the jazz artists who recorded for the Blue Note label during the 1950s and 1960s.
This book is put together entirely of photographs of these artists during the recording of many of the classic sessions that went to make up their record catalogue.
These photographs of the artists whilst playing and relaxing really capture the atmosphere and give a great insight to is was like back in the day. ie fashions etc.
Are there any such books like this that capture all the great reggae artists whether recording in the studio or relaxing in and aaround the studio.
I think this type of imagery captures the spirit od the period as much as, if not more so, than the music itself.
Does anyone know of any such books and wher I might locate them.
Thanks
Respect
Dave
