I just found this:

It is not easy for me to go to a concert in London but I am a HUGE Sugar Minott fan so I am tempted to pull out the stops to try to go.
Has anyone seen him recently? Is he still as sweet as Sugar live?

Leggo and all,
This is also going on TONIGHT in San Francisco with SCIENTIST on the mixing desk...unfortunately I'm stuck in Lansing, Michigan and just got back from the Bay Area. It's happening at the Independent where Lee Perry just had a show. Upcoming shows include Barrington Levy and Beres Hammond....I'll probably be able to make those thanks to a much needed vacation!

Sugar give me sugar and spices.

Yes, I saw Horace Andy at the Jazz Cafe maybe 18 months ago. Awesome set in a great venue!
I am trying to organise trains, hotels, tickets and of course FUNDS now (not to mention a bag of collie for the evening...)

Leggo,
Yes and no (punishment...more like career 'opportunities')
I got to see Sizzla backed by the Firehouse Crew in Ann Arbor, Michigan (about an hour away) last evening.
The DJs that opened the night played a good mix of roots and culture, classic riddims and updated takes.
The sound was LOUD.
Followed by a local band called Killa-Watt. Not bad.
Sizzla puts on a very entertaining show. He sang and chatted for 2 hours non-stop. More than I can say for Mr. Isaacs!
Best,
d
