Does anyone upload reggae LP's

I understand uploading all the forgotten music that is available nowhere, but as for all the readily available and _especially_ the most recent reissues it's a completely different story.
You can only support the reggae music foundation by actually _buying_ the albums. That way the companies like BAF, PS, Makasound etc. can bring more forgotten music to our ears, and keep the reggae movement alive and buzzing!
Still, don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely not commanding you all to ebay for paying astronomical amounts of money for all those rarities; buying those actually does very little for the reggae industry. It's merely money moving from one collector to another. Of course I can see why someone would want to do that still, but my aim here is to stress the importance of buying those new reggae releases & reissues...
...and _not_ uploading _them_ anywhere!!

Newsgroups: alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.reggae
Youthman Deh: I agree with you for the most part. I don't think I'm alone in saying that I've downloaded countless songs (mp3s) off the net because I want to hear them now and I can. But it is not sufficient for me to just possess the mp3s. I'm always buying CDs and vinyl (used and new). I upload to the newsgroups because I think there are many others like me - and it may introduce newcomers to these roots artists.

I am always uncomfortable about NOT paying for stuff. This is because I have long relied on people paying me for my artistic output for survival. So when someone takes my work and prints it without paying, I know how other artists, musical or otherwise feel.
Sadly, even buying reggae often means the wrong person gets the cash, not the originator.
