I find the Scientific Dub album tends to be overshadowed by the Greensleeves releases.. One of my favourite albums though, would love to hear the tunes played on a sound system..

Anyway, do you know any further cuts to the Drum Song dub? Vocals, instrumentals, other mixes? That drumming is absolutely wicked.

Thanks for the links, the second one is the version I'm talking about. Maybe I wasn't quite clear, I meant other cuts of this Drum Song version (Channel One I guess?).

Wicked, cheers. The dub is great too. I love drumming and on this particular track I find it blends in really "tightly".

I believe Lady Anne has a cut on the same version of drum song. It's on lovely lp she did for Eric Bubbles.


Edit: In the always eloquent words of America's great embarrassment: WRONG. There is no cut on this lp that uses the drum song rhythm. Still, a great lp! Why have none of Lady Ann's lps been reissued? All of her lps are a joy.

Roland Alphonso - Drum Song Style from his Brighter Shade of Roots lp uses the same version.
