I like to track down full discographies of artists who use to sing & also produce their own stuff as well as others singers...
Here's some of them:
- Augustus Pablo (Roots/Dub/Rockers)
- Linval Thompson (Roots/Rockers/Early Dancehall)
- Keith Hudson (Roots/Steppers)
- Tappa Zukie (Roots/DJ/Dancehall)
- Ranking Joe (Roots/DJ/Dancehall)
- Sugar Minott (Roots/Dancehall/Digital)
Those are only a few i remembered right away... there's many other artists who sing & produce that i love amongst these ones i mentioned... i'm sure everyone here can help us out..
Blessings,

I totally agree about learning from others' likes. I am constantly checking new music based on what I read here. Another reason why this website is so great. Many thanks to Roots Archives. Many thanks to those who turn me on to new music. And most of all, many thanks to the singers and players!!! Here are some of my favorite artists with my favorite albums by them...
Sylford Walker- Lambsbread
Max Romeo- Open the Iron Gate
Leo Graham- various singles
Barry Brown- More Vibes with Stama Rank
Ini Kamoze- Ini Kamoze
Horace Andy- Dancehall Style
Tenor Saw- With Lots Of Sign (Hard Road is one of my all time favorite songs)
Yabby You- Jesus Dread
