Howdy folks,
are those worth to pick?
Read somewhere here Kamikazi Dub is the worst
album somebody heard - ridiculous...
I am probably the only one in this forum who
prefers Jammies´s mixing comparing to Scientists
stuff (somehow mostly too clinical for my ears)

Hi gibey,
Don`t believe everything you read.
"Kamikazi Dub" is an excellent album.
It is the dub album to Sugar Minott "Bittersweet"
IMO buy it.
Regards
Dave

Hi Gibey
I was amused to see someone thought that as I had "Kamikazi Dub" as my favourite dub album on one of the other forum threads.
Can't help you on "..detroys.." as I don't have it, but "Dub Landing" is definitely worth buying.

I think "Dub Landing" is the more entertaining of the 2, there was a story when it came out that Scientist didn't have much to do with it, but it has one track also on the "Meets the Space Invaders" album and it does sound like him. "Destroys the Invaders" seems to be a Jammys and Tubbys co-production if the vocal introduction on the first track is anything to go by, I have played the album a few times but nothing really stands out for me.

Dub Landing vol. 2 is a bit dull in my opinion. Destroys the Invaders is ok, nothing spectacular but worth picking up since it's cheap. Kamikaze Dub and Strictly Dub are the best Jammy records I've heard, get those first.

I know Ron & 6anbatte...,
I have Kamikazi Dub - in my opinion one of the
best dub albums ever produced. I was just shocked
how this album could be boring? - Listen to
Downtown Shanghai Rock or Brothers of the Blade,
just so tuff, strictly crucial (entire album).
Thanx,
Gibey

Thanx someone else,
I try to give a listen to ´Destroys the Invaders´
Jamie´s albums which aren´t bad either:
1. Slum in Dub (Isaacs)
2. Killer Dub (Fatman Riddim Section)
3. Lion Dub Style

Hi Gibey
I am pleased you mentioned "Downtown Shanghai Rock" as that is as good as it gets in my book. The absolute mutts.
Other Jammy favourite is the You're No Good/Out Of Order Dub 12". Incredible.

Gibey. I have both those LPs mentioned in your initial post. PM me and I'll send you some clips.
As far as my ears reckon, ALL the LPs listed on this page (except Killer Dub which I don't have... yet) have their own merits and I wouldn't part with any of them.

Hi Leggo,
that would be cool! Have to admit that I am the
absolute amateur with computer things, but let´s
try to open the soundclips (with the help of my
younger brother).
By the way: I love your favourite dub album
´Leggo Dub´ which I bought on CD last year.
Is there a similar Revo´s album with that bombastic
drumming by Sly & overall heavily sound which you
could recommend to me?
