Hey friends, I'm wondering if someone can tell me more about this song Sugar did. I first heard it on the "Rare Gems" compilation of his...sounds like a Wackies production, am i correct on that?

Was it originally a single release back then or does it appear on another album? and finally, any other songs match that riddim? much thanks

Was "Chant" on the Rare Gems CD ever released on vinyl? A dub version is featured on African Roots Act 4 but I don't think the Papa Honey/Sugar Minott dj cut ever made it on wax. Would love to be wrong about that.

This is a different cut than the "Chant a Psalm" cut mentioned above, which is crucial in its own right.
