Speaker help

Have a pair of JBL110's, only a 10 inch bass but with massive magnets to move them - enough to make bikes leaning against the house fall over.
The cardboardy type stuff between the cone? and the edge has disintegrated. Can I replace this myself? Where would I get the stuff from?
This happened about 12 years ago and I sent the speakers to the JBL importers and got charged well over 300 pounds (uk) with carriage.

u can buy a whole new cardboard cone, but maybe u can just by a rubber rim if the card still ok, u need solvents to remove the old stuff, best bet would be to find your nearest local speaker repair shop and ask for advice. Maybe u could find an old blown speaker same size, one with a rubber rim rather than just cardboard. I'm no expert on this kinds thing but i'm sure u could do this way as long as u could remove the rubber ok, would have to use the correct solvent+glue.
