In the Roots Rock Reggae movie in Jack Ruby's yard, there is a group that sings a song with these lyrics:

Does anyone know who this group is, or if the song was ever recorded/released?

Yes, it made it to a 7" 'Longest Liver' by Trevor Bryan [Barry's Hide Out label] --- the 7" version is ok, but i like how they sang it for Ruby better...
