Does anybody know the name of a DJ song that has the line "Cant stand the pressure" sang to the tune of "London bridges falling down".

When the DJ says the actual line "cant stand the pressure", it would be to the tune of the "london bridges" song where they say.....

"Myyy Fairr la- dyyyy"
"Cant Stand thepre ssure"

Im pretty sure I heard it on a Greensleeves 12" lp if that helps. I thought it was the dj version of "perilous times" but I checked and its not. Any help would be much appreciated as Ive been driving myself crazy singing that line over and over again until I can remember what lines lead up to that particular line. Anyways, thanks for the help! Marc

"even tide fire is burning down, buring down, burning down. Eventide Fire is buring down and me can't stand the pressure..."

Thanks Alot! That is the lyrics but I didnt hear it in that song. I only say that because I dont have that lp or any cd's with that particular song on it. Do you know of anybody else that used that snippet? Either yellowman on a differnet song or someone else stealing that line altogether. Im inclined to say that it wasnt yellowman at all. I keep feeling like its Trinity because it sounds like it could have came from the "perilous time" version. I'll keep looking but if anybody knows who else may have used that same line as the one in the post above, please let me know. Thanks again!

I just checked the archives and that yelloman album came out in 1984 and I dont listen to any reggae beyond the very early eighties so maybe he lifted that line from somewhere? Alright, now im officially obsessed. I'll find it and let you know. Thanks for the help though. I appreciate it, marc

I found it. Thanks alot jahadambom! I looked for the title that you gave "Eventide Fire" and I found it on a 1980 Greensleeves 12" called "Eventide Fire A Disaster" by Barrington Levy & General Echo. Smokin' tune. Thanks again. Now I can rest my mind......
