Which Barrington track do you mean?

Where he sings about how he was told as a youth that rastaman was a blackheart man?

Open Book is probably my favorite LP with Barrington. The production on it is fantastic!

I was talking of Black Heart Man on the LP Englishman

I haven't yet heard open book. But I absolutely LOVE the LPs Englishman and Robin Hood, which so far are the very very best of his work I have heard.

these question has been made (an answered) before.... those lyrics are from Winston Hussey - "Tear Drops" from the album "Girl I Adore" .... a classic radics style.

Have you heard this LP guno?

Is it the type of stuff I would like?

I am interested in collecting some good vocal reggae.

You certainly will enjoy it Leggo... He's singing style sometimes looks pretty similar to Gregory Isaacs... Classic Roots Radics style, a nice mix of roots, lover's rock & early dancehall riddims...

My favorite songs are the title track "Girl I Adore", and also "Fight War Again" & "Come Into My Parlour" are equally great... these last song if you hear at first without knowing that it's Winston Hussey, then you'd guess it was Gregory singing... pretty much hard to tell the difference in this particular song...

Great album IMO...

Blessings,
