I love that song...does anyone know of what song it is a dub? Thanks regardless of whether anybody can help, I don't know too much about reggae music even though I like it a lot.

still waters / jerry jones [studio 1] 7" and i 4got the keith hudson version to the above named tune.

later vocal version from 1981 on ´Playing it cool´.
Buy that album...if you like Keith´s indescribalble
singing. Beside ´Pick a dub´ my favourite KH disc.

Depth Charge also has similar chords to a song called Drifter's Sunrise, by The Gants and Bob Lind. Fabulous album - Pick a Dub.

it is not a cover of Jerry Jonen: both Jones and hudson covered the Foour Tops - Still Water.
Hudons released a vocal on 12 inch as did Junior Walker (recorded a few years ago) who claims the riddim was originally laid for him to voice a cover of 'Still Water' on, but they only released the dub at the time..

Did Tamlins also do Still Water as well? for Umoja or am I barking up the wrong tune..

Yes, the Tamlins did a version of Still Water

Lost Shoe I've only ever heard the dub version of the Tamlins ...do you know how the vocal cut was released e.g on 7", 12", Dubplate?
I can't recall seeing it on any compilations.
