HELLO DOES ANYONE KNOW THE WHEREABOUTS OF BRETHREN AND SISTREN BY THE VICEROYS OR CULTURAL ROOTS THE REVOLUTIONARY SOUNDS????

The Viceroy's 'we must unite' has come on cd last year but only in france. There is also a interesting compilation of older material from the original sessions mixed with newer material, called 'love is all'. 'brethren and sistren' has been rumoured for some years to come as cd on the Trojan label but never materialised.
For the Cultural Roots records we should hope that Donovan Germain will someday rerelease their first and the 'drift away fom evil' record. both are brilliant roots reggae.

Norris Reid sang harmony with the Viceroys. Group founder is Wesley Tinglin who shared leadvocals with Neville Ingram.
Norris Reid left in 1983 and was replaced by Chris Wayne from Sugar Minott's Youth Promotion Camp.

AS A MATTER OF FACT NORRIS REID DIED. HE IS DEAD YEAH HE IS PROBLY KICKING IT IN HEAVEN BUT HE AINT ALIVE I KNOW THAT BECUASE NOTHING WAS HEARD FROM HIM AFTER: GIVE JAH THE PRAISES AND ROOTS AND VINES.

Well its nothing to hide cause nuff man including Artist pass through our town and no say Mr Reid deh bout and is alive and well.Its a city in Pennsylvania(Pittsburgh)on the East coast of the USA.Besides Norris Ried,Militant Barry,Bongo Asher from the Twinkle Bros all reside there,not to mention the artist who have come and gone.I will direct him to this site so the I can link.
