The Johnny Clarke LP is real quality. But for me, below is the best of JCs earlier work and is sadly often overlooked for better known titles. I have the Justice pressing and it is more high quality Bunny Lee music and this version is on high quality vinyl.

Don't confuse it with a recent compilation that uses the same artwork.

But I don't have the John Holt one, I've struggled to really get into his stuff, maybe I need another try there.

Leggo I recomend John Holts - Up park camp LP ...thats one of the only ones i have of his, though "time is the master" is the one song i burned before i sold the vinyl to a friend.

JC is one of my favorite vocalists, he still sounds good till this day.

I did have 1000 volts of Holt on a CD. But I sold it on ebay.

That speaks volumes as I am always reluctant to sell any of my reggae.

Maybe I didn't give it a fair hearing. Or maybe that work isn't his best?

But I welcome your comments and recommendations so I may try some more cuts by JH.

But with Johnnie Clarke I collect all I can find and haven't been unhappy with anything by him so far.

i like / have the JC album [killa selektion]

the john holt album is mellow for the more laid back movements.
