lyric "every man do his thing a little way different"

I'm listening to the Errol Dunkley version of this on the album Darling Ooh and I feel like there's another version, but I can't place it. Anyone know?

There's a great 12" version produced by Dennis Bovell. It's a few years later that the Darling Ooh album....

Trevor Sparks also did the tune for Digital English in the late 80s.

On the somewhat obscure Rasta Showcase CD (Crocodisc) there is a good 12" version by Devon Irons, track title A Different Song. It's a solid, stepping tune in triplet feel, with a joyful vibe. No real dub attached though, the extended half is a horns cut. Proper vibes still. Actually the lyric goes a little differently on that one now that I think about it...

There's also a really good version of it on Pap Dee's album 'Papa Dee meets the Jamaican Giants - A little way different'

There were later cuts produced by Linval Thompson that came out on 7" in the 90s -
Little Way Different - Linval Thompson (Thompson)
Stay In My Corner - Dennis Brown (Record Factory)
and another i think by Luciano on Record Factory.
