Hi folks,

6anbatte hinted at a link -Youtube-
where you can listen to that great number.
Searching here, I found only ´Jailhouse´ (with
Junior Reid) on the Auralux release ´King Jammy
in Roots´ which is surely a different one.
I also have to admit that I am not a fan of
Junior´s singing...
Anybody knows on which sampler or album I can
find ´Jailhouse Rock´ if it ever was released?

I dont know where it is but it sounds like Barry Brown singing...i would like to know where it is too.

If you mean the dub of Junior Reid's "Jailhouse"
check the tune 'Conspiracy on Neptune' on the "Prince Jammy Destroys The Invaders" LP - it is an incredible piece of dub.
Other versions of the riddim are "Ism Skism" by Wayne Smith and a dj piece by Purpleman.

"Earth & Stone: Jailhouse Set Me Free" is not a Jammy's production, it's a Channel One thing. both the vocal and dub can be found on the Earth & Stone album "Kool Roots".

I´m sure it´s ´Conspiracy on Neptune´. INCREDIBLE!

I think the mix Jammy does in the Deep Roots documentary was never released, but "Conspiracy On Neptune" is just as good. There is another dub of the tune somewhere on another Jammy's album but at the moment I can't remember which.

"Prince Jammy Destroys The Invaders" will be out soon on Greensleeves by the way.
