what are everyones feelings about the combination of erb and reggae, and also reggae without erb. Please share your thoughts. I man believe erb and reggae is a way of healing. I man also wonder if all the players and singers smoked or if some never did ? And finally why did reggae artists who had faith in jah and sensi turn to crack ?

Smoking sensie an liSten reggae music is one of the best ting inna the whole world fe me.

As for the crack, peer reggae DJ and singers turned to hard drugs. i guess its the curruption in the music business partly and partly babylon intervension

"I man also wonder if all the players and singers smoked or if some never did ?"

Theres plenty reggae artists that don't smoke, theres such a biast view of reggae artists in the world, even tho lots or artsist where rastas not all of them who had locks where, i hate it when people instantly think that dreadlocked black people are rastas! not true. Another reason why rasta get bad press, people instantly seem to associate any black dread with rastas, alot of people have hijacked the rasta image for there own use and today there are so many false rastas.

"And finally why did reggae artists who had faith in jah and sensi turn to crack ?"

Same reason that anyone else in this world turns to crack, has nothing to do with corruption in the music business, it's just that life sometimes gets too much for people, and they get in with a bad crowd or just so happens that all there friends do it which is how it usually starts.

The reggae and weed thing, yeh they go together great, thats just because reggae is a true music, a beat of the heart, it's natures natural beat, u don't need weed to enjoy reggae but obviously if u have a smoke u gonna feel the vibes some more.

Reggae music by itself is great, but with a little herb, even better. On the subject of smoke I once heard said "Let I and I reason together," because it's sometimes easier to follow an idea while playing the music and smoking.

"And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of nations."

Since becoming involved with folks who are fighting cancer, I've also seen what effective medicine the herb is. People too sick from chemo to keep down an anti-nausea pill can smoke and soon are eating again. I've also seen folks who would not try this waste away for not being able to eat.

Jah Herb is a powerful thing, and not to be dismissed lightly.

Are all the Reggae artists you are talking about really religious people who believe in Jah?

No offence and I know that this is a very very sensitive subject. But in the past 25 years I got the impression that there are quite a few Raggae artist who are preaching water while drinking wine.

This is Babylon and I hate it. But all of us must not be so naive to believe that there are only true Rastas out there in the Reggae industry (even if they have dreadlocks and talk about Jah while they are on stage).

My respect goes to all those man and women who are not like this!

"I man also wonder if all the players and singers smoked or if some never did ?" I realize this is too broad a statement, i meant the ones that specialize in playing roots, rockers, dub not soul man, funk man or whatever else.
I was also wondering the difference between collie, bush, sensi, lambsbread ?

I enjoyed playing guitar inna roots band a lot with a stick a sensi.
But I could play that good without.

If you feel close to Jah it doesn`t matter if you smoke or not. If you only feel close to him when having smoked - you`re farer away from him than you may think.

Is true I-Lion .Short term solutions to open a window to enlightenment is closed there after when the short term wears off.To achieve a naturally open window and keep it open, takes years upon years of meditation.
