Are these two LPs the same but different pressings?
I have them both, and am trying to work out of one is in fact the same as the other???
But I am so old and stupid, even after playing them back to back, I can't decide. I guess I should load them up one on each deck and play through track by track to compare!
Seems both are versions of Johnnie Clarke's BRILLIANT Girl I love You (aka: Dread Natty Congo)
Help!
Ranking Dellinger - Superstar = Ranking Dillinger - Non Stop Disco Style ?????

Is it perhaps that one is vocal followed by dub (Ranking Dillinger - Non Stop Disco Style)
and the other is vocal side A and dub side B
(Ranking Dellinger - Superstar)
???

I'm quite sure that these two are the same >
Talkin' Blues (Magnum IS the first press ever): http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1884
Superstar : http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1503
Don't know for the Clocketower one.
The Magnum pressing has vocals followed by dubs and the Weed Beat pressing vocals on A side and dubs on B side.
A lkiller LP IMHO, mostly Dillinger's cut to J Clarke tunes prioduced by B Lee.

I have Talkin Blues on Magnum on the way. When it arrives I'll lock myself in a room and play all three one track at a time until I am sure what is what here.
Agree with both previous posts though, this Dillinger over Johnnie Clarke / Bunny Lee material is simply too good to miss.
Sadly, there is some other Dillinger material which, for me at least, are very far below this standard!
