Don't know of an album called 'Former Man', all I have is an album called 'All Creature' by Jah Palm, the singer. It came around 1985 , self-produced, a rather dry-roots affair, but quite nice .

FORMER MAN is the only longplayer me know, I own it and I like it. Jah Palm's dry DJ style, like pre-steppers, is hitting slowly but surely.

Isn't the album really called F**a**rmer Man since he in the title track sings about planting various things such as corn and also being a farmer? Also add to the fact that there are no gender-change lyrics in sight. Don't know why it is so often referred to as Former Man. Perhaps a typo on the cover?
It's a pretty good album ... a few very good tracks and a couple quite dull ones too. Well worth buying if found for cheap but nothing I'd pay more than £15 for.

Only seen the cover once on eBay from a seller in Japan so I can't really recall the spelling. It was if I remember correctly green with a b/w photo of Jah Palm on it. Must have been ... two years ago I saw it.
