i know other artists sound like other arists
but i just heard a patrick andy tune called "money love"
he sound like horace andy as does wayne jarrett.
anyone notice SOUND-A-LIKES.

King Kong, Tenor Saw and nitty gritty all have the same sound (singing stylee) - which was popular from bout 84 - 86.
Trinty sometime sound like big youth
yami bolo sound a bit like michael rose (WATERHOUSE SOUND)
U brown and Uroy have same style
& john mouse definate sound a like cocoa tea

Candyman & Winston 'Pipe' Matthews sound like Bob.
Dennis Alcapone, Ranking Joe & Briggy may sound like U Roy.
Prince Hammer sounds like Clint Eastwood.
Junior Reid sounds like Michael Rose.
Rod Taylor sounds like Horace Andy.

Pinchers sounds like Pliers.. well they're brothers. Spanner Banner sounds like both of them.

This is why i tell people Barrington Levy has one of the most Unique Voices in Music. No One can say Like "singer "X" sounds like Barrington Levy"

recently relistened to that Viceroy's 'Inna De Yard' - anyone else think the first few songs sounded a bit like Dennis Brown-ish - just a little? No complaining...
