Ok i got some info, will post up more if i get some.
The band formed in 1980 in a place called Rouen city in France, they played a concert with u-roy once, band members are:
Jeremie Aston - Guitar (Founder of band)
kriss mcinley - Bass(+Later lead singer+keyboard)
christophe lehoux -?
raymond esdras - Drummer
alain bandela - (still in rouen city, still plays)
antoine tony magdeleine - Lead Singer

The lead singer is now with his own band which plays Zouk music which is a music genre i think(trying to find out the name of the band).
Jahs Sons did some music in the french film called "tout le monde peut se tromper " was a song called "Passion Fruit"(3.12mins) it is available on a 2x cd release of film soundtracks, info below:

Pomme Music 951 592 CB 722
Country: France
Format: CD
Release Date: 1996
UPN: 3-436949-515928

The band broke up in 1984 when they all got called for military service! what a shame hey!

I think they did make there own album but never released and a single but don't think they where released i'm trying to check on this.
Will post up more if i get anything.

I have a feeling that Glen Brown also used the name Jah Son, this band is Jah's Son's both plural so thats the easiest way to ID them. I'm guessing them tunes u have are glen brown, i think thats who used to use that name anyway, also used God Son i seem to think.
