hail.
Iman would like to know if anyone has any
info on Leroy Wallace,
better known as Horsemouth.
particularly any fairly recent info as
to the man's whereabouts,
contact info...or anything.

Horsemouth was born in 1947 . He was taught to play drums at Alpha School by Lennie Hibbert and played in the Mighty Vikings and Soul Syndicate Band in the late 60s. He also did some records for Coxsone as a DJ, for whom he had worked as a printer, under the pseudonym Mad Roy. the early 70s he also appeared as a singer for coxsone and lee perry. But of course you know him more as Horsemouth THE Drummer. Though he was a person that wasn't very easy to handle, he made his way. I think of course you know the "rockers" movie.

Yes he is still playing drums. For Example on Capletons' "Reign Of Fire" Album. That man is still working.

He just finished a run of shows playing drums for Groundation. It was fantastic!

Hi, sorry to bring this thread back from the dead. I found a new record were the "horsey" play. Rockamovya with players of Groundation.
