ernie b has that new papa tullo that's been advertised as coming out for a long time on musical ambassador's website. im kind of confused though, i don't see an album called state of government anywhere on this site or any discography site. it seems like it has alot of tracks similar to his 1982 release. anyone shed any light on this? leggo?

I was wondering about this too. Is it reissue with different song names? I have Tullo at Home so I don't want to get a duplicate.

Toyan- Basically its got some of the songs from the original Negus Roots LP mixed with some singles Papa T put out...whether the mix-downs are the same, I cannot tell you, they could sound different from what you've heard in the past. The album was, to quote Musicalambassador.com, "digitally remixed by Gussie P at Kalabash Studios London."

Thanks Papa Ahmz. I just bought it anyways. I had a list of albums saved in my shopping cart to buy so I just bought everything at once.

I have the LP called Purpleman Saves Papa Tullo In A Dancehall. Excellent comic book style artwork on the jacket! An interesting concept though, which seems to imply that Purpleman is the hero here (seen with the superhero outfit, cape, and muscles) and he is saving Tullo from the bad guys. However, Tullo did get the A-side of this showcase...
