for me all the albums from ernest are very well played in a jazz soul mood kind of music to relax. indeed his carrer to jazz is the best cool thing done cause he plays so well
check out
rocksteady-ernest ranglin with monty alenxander i like it
gotcha-also good
modern answers to old problems-good too
and below the bassline is him classic
Monty Alenxander has very good albums in the style of Ernest Ranglin check it

hi, boss reggae is a good one, with that early sound... it's obviously different from the newer ones like below the bassline, memories of barber mack, etc.
in boss reggae, from 1970, the music is skinhead reggae like, also rocksteady. instrumental music, sweet melodies...
hope you get it

respect, gonzalo

In a way I'm amazed nobody mention 'Sounds & Power' on Studio One. This album ranks among the alltime great instrumental records ever, just along 'Maka Fat', 'Money Maker' and 'Im Flash Forward'. Classic Stuff !
