Don't know much about him, what's his story?
Any reviews or must have albums or singles?

Underrated singer, Cottage In Negril is my least favorite but a massive hit in 1984. Check out his Soul Syndicate killer Sufferation, that's a stormer, plus you had a Jack Ruby production on a Wolf bootleg 7", Life's Table. Wicked tune. His Free South Africa 12" on Island are good, and Move Up Blackman are another good shot. All except Sufferation, that one you will find on several Niney compilations, are hard to find now

Cool thanks, exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Who would you compare him to as far as style goes?

Taylor has a style which borrows a lot from Ken Boothe, just like Barrington Spence

He had an LP called Move Up Blackman in 1976, never seen it though, i think it was a Jamaican release only

Not familiar with Spence, but he must have some soul in his voice if he sounds like Boothe. Wonder how many albums he has put out throughout his career. Only two on this site including a clash with Boothe.

I just ordered his Reggae Max cd on Jet Star, it features some of the tracks you mentioned. Cheap price too.

Oh sorry, I was talking about Gee's post:
"Check out his singles Rainy Sunset, Members Only & Cottage in Negril!"- all of which are on the cd.
I also found the Sufferation album and ordered that as well.
Thanks again.
