I've seen a couple of videos of this show here and there and wondered is there any info documented about the awards from when it started to best dj,singer on specific years etc

Info will be much appreciated

The reason is the owner of the tape used a Camera Phone from his Tv screen

Someone mentioned to check Mikey Dreads - Natural Roots from Rockers awards, the mikey Dread video u have seen is not from the Rockers Awards in JA but from his own show Rockers Roadshow, and i know he does sing a tune called Natural Roots but this is just his song to introduce the band Natural Roots from what i can remember.

bwoyrough why don't u convince the guy to let off the tape, that cameraphone quality thing ain't working.

this show is already available in most trading circles u can find it as Volcano 1985, or on file share networks as same or Myrie Avenue awards, u can probably find lots more clips on youtube if u search volcano 85 in alot better quality. Same vid also has the josey wales video on it(on youtube), 1st half awards show then the rest is a volcano dance.

sorry i thought u ment the other one, them early B and Junior Reid clips he says he only has the clips of them and not a full video, i have alot of stuff he's after too so i think he'd tell me if he had the full thing. I'll try and find the full video......
