Just curious if anyone knows the name of the fellow who created the cover art for such classics as Toyan's "How the West was Won" and several Scientist LPs such as "Wins the World Cup" and "Rids the World of the Curse of the Evil Vampire"? Also are there, or were there ever, full size prints of this art? I just think that seeing Scientist hunt down the evil vampires ghouls and monsters, blown up on my wall and poster-size, would make each and every day more complete and meaningful.

i totally agree with you that having poster size scientist album covers would be awesome. i think most of the classic greensleeves album art is credited to Tony McDermott. Please correct me if this is wrong.

a great book filled with dozens of CLASSIC covers.

I never really rated Stir It Up. They could have done it so much better. Treated reggae artwork like they did with Blue Notes covers in those Blue Note Books, instead of just picking the standard with odd other choices also.

Would have loved to read interviews with Tony McDermott, Jamaal Pete, Tyrone White and Limonious who have done some of the most memorable reggae album covers.

Jamaal Pete is apprently a junkie, or was (hopefully)... not been heard from in years
