Courtesy of **Tapir**

An amazing UK label discography.

At the bottom one the best guides to Reggae Hit lists.

Simply the best!

The one at Tapir only goes up to 1987 (great info). Is there another site that continues on from where Tapir left off?

Tapir's charts probably only go up to 1987 because after that Reggae just didn't have the quality or maybe even the sales that it had previously.

Maybe, but that would be personal opinion. Still the best music around! Jamaica still had charts with the most popular songs. The quesiton is where to find a detailed list from 1987 till later. Maybe someone from Jamaica would have some links?????

"because after that Reggae just didn't have the quality"

That's just your opinion.

Those charts at Tapir are UK charts by the way.
I don't know of any internet source of JA charts from the 70s. There is supposed to be a book called "Reggae Routes", written by Jamaicans, which documents JA charts from the good ol' days.

Of course the quality was there after 1987, maybe in lesser quantities than before, but there are plenty of fine examples of wonderful music released in Jamaica after 1987 on >
**King Jammy's
Xterminator
Digital-B
Taxi
Powerhouse
African Star
Augustus Pablo's Rockers**
just to name a few!
