Can anyone tell me which song is the original of "Listen To The Teacher" by U-Roy on the "Dread In Babylon" album.
I have heard the riddim before, but can't remember who sang it.

I know I have heard other singers...don't remember who and which songs though.

Lloyd and Devon's "Red Bum Ball" comes close to the rhythm that U Roy used for "Listen To The Teacher".
"Slim Boy" by Barbara Jones is on the same rhythm (bassline) but a different take.
"Do You Want Me" by John Holt is something completely different though.
