Current Roots band in Kingston, JA?

An associate of mine is trying to find a band to play some roots music that will be featured in an independent film set in Jamaica. I do a classic roots reggae show on the Univ. of Texas student radio (KVRX) but I don't know any modern Kingston bands (in general, modern reggae is not specialty).
I believe he would like a band with a vintage roots sound but modern roots in the vain of Midnite, Groundation, or Bambu Station would probably be fine (but not like Anthony B, Capleton, Buju, Sizzla, etc.) He has asked me to find a band from Kingston (or near it) that is available between Aug. 10-13 to lay down some tracks.
The film is very low budget and there would not be much in the form of payment but this does present a great opportunity for those wishing to promote their band. You can check out the trailer on this myspace page:

Does anyone here know of such a band? You don't need to know if they would be available but I would be much obliged if someone in the know could list some bands that are active in Jamaica.
Please post here or email me if you can help
