He guys,

I'm looking for a classic reggae song.
I know it's a difficult one but i'm tryin'anyway!!

I forgot the artist's name or the title but the song goes like:
"I'm a cruisin'man", then trompets"ta ta tata tatataa" then "doin'just what i like to do"

I know it's an 80's hit.. The last time i was in Jamaica my taxidriver played it all the time..

Hopefully someone can help me out!!

Thanx.

Hey guys,

Could it be an Al Campbell Song perhaps?

No, that's not the one...

I'm still searching my ass off for this song!

I did find a chart on the internet of 1981 with a song named "cruisin'man" from al campbell. But this song is nowhere to be found..it could be the one but i don't know. And i don't get it at all because my taxidriver told me this was a big hit back in the days! Perhaps it's title is totally different?

I hope for more suggestions.

Thanx!

Hey guys,

I just remembered the song starts with a lot of motorbike noise!

after that a voice says something like:

here comes a tune from the barber saloon and i'm a juvenile and i was born in june, you know..

and then the music kicks in.

I think it's mikey dread who says it but i don't think it's his song..

Suggestions?

See ya.
