No way am I going to record clips off that lot, bad enough having to list them all!

But believe me, some are classics, mostly I have duplicates of them. But a few really don't do it for me so I am taking the unusual step of actually selling some records I don't have two copies of!

Maybe my vinyl addiction is easing (NOT!)

:D

Sorry to crash your thread bredder Bullit.

Looks like you've been digging the Mastermind Computerstyle mixtapes!. The two conroy smith tunes are very rare. Especially Dollar Van Ride. You shouldnt count on seeing that. Dangerous is also extremely rare and i wouldnt count on seeing it on ebay just like that. The Dilly Dally is also very rare. The digital Horace Andy tunes is only available on his excellent album "Haul And Jack Up". Thats not rare and pretty easy get hands on on ebay. And Barrington Levy's come is also very rare. I havent seen it anywhere for a long long time. Cocoa Tea "Young Lover" is not rare and comes frequently under as a repress named "Girls Go Home".delroy williams - mix up is rare but you can get it on ebay if you keep your eyes open. Selah Collins Pick A Sound is also frequently available on ebay i think.

Thanks Jah Glu, your right, the mastermix track list i went through and looked at which i like, i know that some are rare but then i have waited years to pick up some tunes so eventually im sure they will appear. Thanks for your help, I'll keep my eyes open for the tunes, i saw mix up a week or two back but missed it, shame :/

Leggo, true, ripping those would be an effort, i also have tunes and duplicates that i should sell, even the ones i dont love i find hard to get rid of..

I had three numbskull buyers in one month.

EBay ID JahFouks bought a record during a free postage promo that clearly stated UK ONLY in the listing (and in eBay's promo). He refused to pay the postage and flamed me in feedback. 1 strike.

A newbie bought a record deck then said it would take several months to pay, did I mind re-listing. I relisted and gave her bad feedback, she retaliated. 2 strikes!

That's two non-paying bidders, both successfully processed through eBay non-paying-bidder scheme. And yet both were allowed to leave bad feedback, which, if you don't sell often makes your percentages look so awful you get the dreaded seller non performance rap.

The final straw, I guess, was a guy who bought a tiny 1950s record player off me. It was a real gem, valve amp, celestion speaker and all. It worked as you would expect for something so old, so small and so basic. Like it took a half minute to crank up to proper speed, and the sound was, well, basic.

This guy then complained to eBay, who sided with him (as they nearly always do the b*st*rds!) and said I had to refund him when he returned the item. he never returned the item so eBay cancelled his claim. He then left a negative. 3 strikes!!

During this process eBay's comms were always contradictory. Several said I wasn't suspended, one said I definitely shouldn't be and yet, yep, I still got banned - for life! I'm not supposed to ever hold an ebay account again, even as a buyer?

So ebay sellers beware, this company is a complete nightmare to deal with when things go wrong.

You only have to check my other feedback, and speak to anyone who has ever bought off me to know that I am really honest guy. I even told one guy NOT to bid on a record because it was a repress (as stated in the listing) and that the sound quality wasn't as good as the original and he should instead seek an original. That's the type of guy I am.

So as a result of these idiots, ebay included, I lost a 7 year account, and over 2000 positive feedbacks. I was gutted by all this but then, hey, it's not really important.

PM me if you want to watch my latest buying and selling account on ebay.
