Robin Hood - Barrington Levi - Greensleeves pressing - Suspect sound quality?

I'm listening to Robin Hood by Barrington Levi. I already have the Jah Guidance version and the Greensleeves version on CD (the older two LP version with Englishman).
But I decided to pick it up on Greensleeves vinyl also, to complete the set.
However, despite this pressing looking mint and unmarked, the sound quality is awful (at least as poor as the JA version!). It sounds a bit distorted and there's some surface noise here and there.
Either:
a) It's a very poor master tape or pressing
b) The previous owner played it with a damaged stylus
Anyone else have this version suffering the same thing?

Mine LOOKS mint and plays like a JA pressing.
Oh well, back to the drawing board (eBay!)

Hey Lion, I have the CD already! Just wondered why my mint looking copy sounded so awful!

I think Lion was referring to the reissue on vinyl also so that your mint looking copy can be exchanged for a mint looking and sounding copy.
