Help: Who does "Shock Me A Shock"? (or is it "Shock We A Shock"?)

I picked up a mixtape-style CD a while back by a guy named DJ Dusk (who unfortunately passed away a few years ago).

Anyway, there is a song he has listed as "Shock Me A Shock" by The Messengers but I have found nothing anywhere that corroborates this and I suspect that the track name or the artist (or both) is wrong.

The song runs nearly 6 minutes long and makes nice use of the Revolution rhythm. (This version really bounces!)

I have two leads:
1) I found a song in the roots-archives called "Shock We A Shock" by Robert Ffrench from the 1985 album "The Favourite" which has serious potential just based on the name and release date.

2) My other lead suggests that DJ Dusk got the name of the track right, but should have attributed it to Horace Martin who released a song called "Shock Me A Shock" in '85 which apparently used the Revolution rhythm. (I think this is most likely it.)

I can't find a sample of either track anywhere to verify that my hunch (lead #2) is correct.

Please help.

Thanks,
J

Here is my best attempt at the first minute and twenty seconds of the lyrics:

Inna '82, dem say dem a sting
Inna '83, dem nah say nothing
Inna '84, dem put on a wing
Inna '85, a sting dem a sting,
(Lord)

Sting dem a sting, but a shock me a shock
(come again stop)
Sting dem a sting, but a shock me a shock
(Come a hear dat)(?)
Sting dem a sting, but a shock me a shock

The uptown posse, a so dem jus a rock
The downtown posse, a so dem jus a rock
The uptown posse, a so dem jus a rock
So
Shuffle up the deck and chop(?) off the jack
Shuffle up the deck and chop(?) off the jack

Sting dem a sting, but a shock me a shock
Sting dem a sting, but a shock me a shock

Uptown posse, me say come in a dis
Downtown posse, me say rock in a dis
Uptown posse, me say come in a dis
Downtown posse, me say rock in a dis

A pure niceness, A pure niceness, A pure niceness

(.... and it goes on and on like this finally ending the song with a few impassioned wails of "A pure niceness!")

"Shock Dem A Shock" - Trevor Junior, a Youth Promotion 7" in the rough early digital style.
A boom tune.
