Okay, this is maybe a bit over the top if you only see the price, but it is a tremendous collection and imo absolutely quintessential.

In the movie "smile orange" there is a woman singing in the hotel, she performs 1 or 2 songs in this scene, does anyone know the name of these songs?

"Take Me To Jamaica" on Pressure Sounds, as Lion mentioned, is very good.

Also:

Count Owen and His Calypsonians' "(Calypso) Down Jamaica Way"
- 12 song CD
- Kalypso DSR CD 502

Laurel Aitken - "The Pioneer of Jamaican Music (Vintage Recordings from the 1950's and 1960's)"
- 25 songs on 2LPs
- Reggae Retro (UK) LP RRT-002

Lion also mentions http://www.mentomusic.com. Here you'll find a lot about Stanley Beckford (brother of Theophilus Beckford - Easy Snappin').
- Stanley Beckford Plays Mento
- and various Stanly & The Turbines
