Hello. I have just managed to get hold of a copy of this album. Could someone tell me a bit about them. Where they hail from. Were they connected with Dennis Bovell? Personell etc. Are they still about. Its a top Dub LP i think.
Ites

Tradition where a band originally connected with the Gangsterville Arcade record shop in london ,I can remember being in the shop one night having listened to & bought all the tunes I wanted & the guy behind the counter offered to play me the demo tape of their first release "Moving On " I was so impressed I paid for the tune before it was pressed & I have always had a soft spot for them ,Their first release was "Tradition In Dub" on a white label followed by the vocal version of the Lp Called "Moving On " released on the Venture label.
They backed Delroy Wilson when he toured after his massive "I'm Still Waiting " hit ,eventually they signed to RCA records releasing a Vocal & Dub album ,I think after the Major label dropped them they released another LP but quicky disapeared for the recording scene
