This is a reggae song fron the early eighties, it includes the lyrics: "who is gonna bodyguard the bodyguard."

Could someone tell me the album/band.

That sounds like "Bodyguard" by the Mighty Diamonds on the album "Deeper Roots".

The Deeper Roots cd-release on Caroline Records (CAROL 1122-2) contains the dub as well.
