Hello all,
Can anybody help me to identify this wonderful tune?
'Hey Mr Walker
I like your daughter
I used to tell her
That I'm a welder
That was a lie sah,
I'm just a singer
In a roots rock reggae band
Now I'm asking for her hand'.

An absolutely killer rhythm; full of joy. Wow, let me tell you they don't make them like this any more. I thank God or whoever for letting my ears be blessed with this one...

The vocalist sounds like Johnny Osbourne.
Rodigan played this a lot in 1981.

Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Johnny Osbourne is the singer, Mr Walker is the name of it. Good luck finding it, it's rare

You will also get a wicked cut of it on Johnnie O's "Musical Chopper" LP for King Jammys.
