Hello,

I've been enjoying the new Ranking Dread Most Wanted. Did he really engineer most of this album? Any thoughts?

Also is it worth getting Ranking Dread in dub (Scientist/King tubby). I've heard differing reports.

I know your Ranking Dread nuts but I wanted to ask you have your heard the UK DJ called "Afrikan Simba" ?

Now, if there was ever a Ranking dread voice a like this is it. Check him out man. Sounds remarkably similar.

back to the tread, I agree with Kalcidis and really rate this dub LP.

I actually saw Afrika Simba live a couple of years ago. Afrika Simba in combination with Errol Bellot. It was a great session but I can't say that I connected his voice to Ranking Dreads though. Perhaps I have to listen to him again bearing that in mind.

ranking dread in dub is a great album!

I don 't think R.Dread mixed his own tunes, although he is credited for it. It sounds too experienced for a man that is not otherwise known for mixing tunes.

You should definitly buy Ranking Dread in dub. Great album.

Most wanted was engineered by Scientist i always thought!

Both Scientist as RK are credited on some Greensleeves 12 inches.

Yeah, I thought it sounded like scientist too and he is credited in a couple of the tracks. I will try and get hold of a copy of Ranking Dread in Dub - thanks for the advice!
