Hello,
I saw this Bunny Wailer cd on ernieb (Tafari label).
Has anyone heard it yet?
I'd like to know if the sound is any good.
Hope so, cause it's a killer and I'd like to have it on cd.
Pity though they changed the order of the songs.
Strange is that Sly Dunbar is listed as producer (it was a self production for Solomonic as far as I can remember)
Thanks.
Bassi

hi bassi, one of my favourite bunny wailer LPS is rock n groove. have it on LP, might be a bit different on cd [extra tracks maybe] but a great record. ballroom floor, another dance etc all killer tunes with dubs too. you'll enjoy this one.

Looks like Rootsman Skanking & Rule Dancehall on one album. Are the mixes different?

Dontknow the CD but agree with kemar, its a great roots LP (early dancehall riddims), and one of Bunny's best work imo.

I have the lp on vinyl, and just bought the cd.
The CD is completely different mixes from those on the lp. In most cases, the cuts are half the length of the originals. The lp is a bit over 42min in length. If you extract the corresponding cuts from the cd, it plays 20-something minutes in length.
I don't understand why they don't just release the album in it's original form...
