I heard a tune with the following lyrics but am not exactly sure about the singer as it was on radio.
'they took us away from africa,rob us of our culture.
dignity where is your love,culture i miss you so..
pliz help identify the artist[s].

Alas i'm at work at the moment,but i,m sure this lyric comes from a Junoir Ross and the Spears song i just can't remember which one....i,ll check later and let you know if nobody beats me to it!!

i think palm trees are led by the late soft' palmer, not his younger brother junior ross
palm trees = palmer threes
i never picked up that 45 when it was repressed, can't remember why
