Can someone fill me in on the details of Minott's "Smile" LP? What year was it released, what kid of material (reggae, lovers, dancehall), how good of an album is it, etc? Does it rank up there with his better albums?
I have tried finding more info on the intenet with no luck. Any help would be great.

I haven't heard it but I have been told that it isn't crucial Sugar stuff.
But then it does sell very cheaply on ebay so it is probably worth the risk!

Digital Sugar Minott CD on VP records.
Think it's backed by Steely & Cleevie (the title song for sure) - almost sure it's recorded in the 90's.
Certainly not his best record in my opinion - but as Leggo wrote: 'its probably worth the risk!', so why not give it a try.

Minott's "Smile" LP is from '89 (vp), it's digital style and not really good imo.
The title track is a steelie & clevie prod., there's one redman prod. and the rest is self prod.
Everything from Sugar between 78 and '86 is better imo.
Still, I won't give away my copy of 'Smile'
