The poor quality of Studio 1 pressings has always been an issue with many yet some of the best ever music on quality pressings came from the Studio 1 / Coxsone label in the early 90's when they put out killer rocksteady "revives" that had been tastefully remastered & cleaned up from all the imperfections associated with using old stampers. As an extra bonus these single releases also had version sides that had never been issued before. Mainly pressed in the USA, many of these records appeared on the yellow & red Studio 1 label.
